In the final week of the Winter Sound School, we enter the yummy dank world of hardware techno. Unravelling its histories, techniques & orthodoxies are Melbourne artists Nina Buchanan & Alex Cuffe (TTSKTLS). 

Techno captures the imagination like few other electronic genres: from its birth in the POC club scene of Detroit to Berlin minimalism to afrofuturism & queer dance floors the world round. Nina & Alex give us an insider's look at their set-ups (lucky us, eep!), explore different combinations of & approaches to gear, & how to harness the power of tekkerz as a jumping off point to other worlds of composition.

Participants are super welcome to bring along any gear they might want to try out, combine with others' or show & tell!

This workshop will take place on the ground floor of Hotshots. Please note that while it is relatively wheelchair accessible, & there are accessible toilets, access to the building is through a dirt carpark & there is a small step up of about two inches into the building.
